Effective October 23, 2026, Limen Group of Companies (“Limen“) is pleased to announce the asset acquisition of the above-listed companies collectively called “York1”, expanding its capabilities in civil infrastructure and demolition.

For decades, York1 has been a leading contractor in the civil infrastructure sector, including earthworks (detail and mass excavation, cut-fill operations, granular grading, soil movement), sewer-watermain and force main services, stormwater management including installation of temporary and permanent ponds and storage tanks, domestic water and sewer systems, and fire main services.

In addition, York1 has been providing demolition services for all residential, industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) and heavy civil projects, which include detailed, forward-thinking planning and execution of decommissioning activities, explosive and nonexplosive demolition, and abatement/removal of asbestos, lead paint and mould.

This strategic acquisition of the civil infrastructure and demolition assets marks an exciting milestone for Limen, unlocking new opportunities for growth and innovation. By integrating York1’s specialized civil and demolition services with Limen‘s construction expertise, the acquisition will enhance Limen‘s ability to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions to clients. Limen will be uniquely positioned to take on larger, more complex projects, further solidifying its leadership in the industry. Closing of the acquisition is to be completed by end of October 2026.
