Antonio is the Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer and has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, where he is recognized for his strategic capabilities, dedication, and operational excellence. Limen, one of the leading construction companies in Canada, was founded over 35 years ago with Antonio’s forward-thinking vision of vertical integration within the construction industry as a constructor by organically growing his own staff within his own company. For over three decades, Antonio has successfully directed the planning and execution of major construction projects in the industrial, commercial and institutional Canadian construction industry in both the public and private sectors. Antonio has in-depth business knowledge that spans corporate development, operations, finance, human resources, and common law. Antonio is adept at building collaborative working relationships with owners, consultants and other business stakeholders. He has a thorough understanding of the critical issues and risk factors involved in all stages of the construction lifecycle, and an ability to anticipate and avert potential complications to ensure on-schedule/on-budget project delivery.

In 2018, Antonio was inducted into the Portuguese Canadian Walk of Fame recognizing his impact and significant charitable contributions to Portuguese communities in Canada. He is driven to give back to charities, such as the Luso Canadian Charitable Society, Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital, Princess Margaret Cancer Research and annual scholarship sponsorships for FPCBP. In addition to being an ongoing supporter of charities supporting the local community, in 2021 he contributed over $1 million to help build and operate the Magellan Community Charities, a senior long-term care and assisted living facility in Toronto, Ontario.
